Background
As the Ministers of Gender & Women Affairs of Africa declared in Banjul to start the African Women Decade from 2010 – 2020 and that the launching activities by the Member states of African union will start in 2010.
The Egyptian Business Women Association & The African Alliance for Women Empowerment will be organizing the African Women Decade Exhibition as an initiative from the Civil Society organizations to contribute in the launch of the African Women Decade focusing on the Economic Empowerment of Women .
Objectives of the Exhibition
1- Promotion of the role of African Women in the Economic Integration of the African Continent .
2- Opening New Markets for African Products across Africa & the Global Market .
3- Gathering African Women Entrepreneurs for Networking and Business to Business Meetings.
Expected Outcomes
1- Establishment of An African Directory for Women Entrepreneurs.
2- Trade point & information Center for African products .
3- Building Business Relations among African Women Entrepreneurs .
4- Accessing New Markets across Africa and the World.
Information about the Exhibition
The Egyptian Business Women Association & the African Alliance for Women Empowerment will be glad to
- Sponsor one Booth for Each Member State of African Union .
- Sponsor Registration fees of the congress for 2 delegates of each African Country .
- However the Congress itself is self Sponsored and travel and Accommodation will be the responsibility of the delegates them selves .
